This page is a starting template, not finished legal advice. Replace the bracketed placeholders
with your actual data practices before publishing it for real users.
1. Deleting individual data within the App
You can remove your data directly inside Field Clock at any time, without contacting us:
- Open Field Clock and go to your list of pinned client locations.
- Select a location and choose Delete to remove the pin and stop future
arrival/departure tracking for that site.
- Open your timesheet history and delete individual entries or clear an entire date range.
[Confirm these menu paths match the actual App UI, and add steps for deleting any other data
types the App stores, such as exported reports.]
2. Deleting all of your data
To remove all Field Clock data at once:
- Use the in-App option (e.g. Settings → Clear All Data) if available.
[Confirm this exists or remove this bullet.]
- Uninstalling Field Clock from your device deletes any data stored only on-device.
[Confirm whether any data also persists in a cloud backend after uninstall — if so,
say so explicitly here.]
3. Deleting your account
[State whether Field Clock currently requires a user account. If it does not, replace this
section with: "Field Clock does not require you to create an account, so there is no separate
account to delete — deleting your data as described above removes everything associated
with your use of the App." If it does require an account, replace this section with the
in-App path, e.g. Settings → Account → Delete Account, and describe what happens to
any associated data on deletion.]
4. Requesting deletion by email
If you'd rather not delete data yourself, or if you believe we hold information on your behalf
that isn't accessible from within the App, submit a request through the
Feedback & questions form from
the account associated with your use of the App and request deletion. We will confirm your
identity as needed and complete the deletion within [X] days, then reply to confirm.
5. What gets deleted
[Describe exactly what is erased — e.g. pinned locations, location history, timesheets,
account profile — and note any data retained for a limited time for legal, security, or
fraud-prevention purposes, such as billing records required by the App Store or Google Play.]
